Perrill Digital Marketing is part of an overall holding company called PerrillCo.  PerillCo’s family of businesses include WAND, Compute North, and Perrill Digital Marketing.  PerrillCo is looking to add an HR Business Partner to support these three business entities as they continue forward with their impressive growth strategies.  This HR Business Partner will have the opportunity to work with the leadership teams across these individual companies to create new HR systems and policies and to support the hiring and retention of their respective teams.

The HR Business Partner will have a wide range of responsibilities including managing the overall recruitment process, orientation and onboarding, performance management and development, benefits, compliance and employee relations and engagement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES:

Talent Acquisition Duties:

  • Develop and manage a consistent hiring process to be followed by all
  • Manage communication, logistics and follow-up with outsourced recruiting partners
  • Work closely with hiring managers to develop position profiles to attract and hire A+ talent
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, promoting hiring opportunities through job postings, networks, social, website and other media
  • Manage the applicant tracking system to include qualifying candidates, scheduling with hiring managers and applicant disposition ensuring an overall positive candidate experience

HR Generalist Duties:

  • Facilitate new hire onboarding, including scheduling, orientation, I-9 compliance, and training
  • Serve as a resource for employee inquiries, facilitating prompt problem resolution and escalating issues as appropriate
  • Serve as a resource for managers in the employee relations process by fielding management concerns; tracking and documenting action steps timely; advising on the progressive coaching and disciplinary process as well as employment law and HR policies and procedures; and processing terminations 
  • Support the HRIS function and serve as a back-up as needed (e.g., enter, process, maintain, and audit employee data, including new hires, terminations, personal updates, and status changes data in the HRIS)
  • Participate in the benefits renewal and open enrollment processes and facilitate communication with employees, brokers, and carriers as appropriate 
  • Assist with the performance evaluation process, coaching managers and tracking review completion
  • Partner with the hiring manager on training initiatives, including training development, preparation, and facilitation   
  • Ensure company compliance with federal and state employment regulations, keeping apprised of changes as they occur
  • Assist in maintaining the workers’ compensation and safety programs 
  • Create, maintain, organize, and audit employee files for compliance
  • Update the Employee Handbook, including development, revision, and implementation of company policies as needed
  • Participate in coordinating employee reward and recognition programs, company social functions, and other cultural and engagement initiatives
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of client, staff, and corporate information

EDUCATION AND EXERIENCE:

  • 4-year undergraduate degree, SPHR certification or knowledge preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources
  • Experience with full-cycle recruitment strategy
  • Experience administering employee benefit plans and compensation plans
  • Strong understanding of state and federal requirements and regulations
  • Strong interpersonal skills bot oral and written
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft applications
